Continuing on from last week, we will be hearing from our second pastoral apprentice, Elijah Istchenko.
Elijah will be sharing his personal journey with Jesus Christ and how that ties into the calling God has placed in his heart. He will also be sharing the sermon that he preached during his assessment in the Immerse biblical leadership program offered by a partnership between Fellowship Pacific and Northwest Baptist Seminary.
This week we will be taking a brief look at how we interact with the things God says to us through the Bible, and attempt to address the questions we should be asking when we open it. We'll also explore the fact that knowing Jesus and understanding what God wants from us is far more than just studying what the bible says.
