First and foremost, the Bible exists to reveal God and His glory to us! And God reveals this to us by telling us an incredible story. A true story of how He has worked in the world for the good of people for thousands of years. There are a ton of stories in the Bible, but none of them stand on their own - they are all part of one big story, one primary narrative. At the end of the day, the Bible really only tells one grand unified story about how God saves people and destroys evil. Of course, God's Word also teaches us many, many things about right and wrong and how to live, but even these teachings themselves are a part of the story!
This week we are diving into a really well known story of the Bible where we see God save an entire nation through an incredible miracle - The parting of the red sea! In this story we learn some important lessons about how the nature of salvation itself, as well as how faith plays a role in salvation, whether that is the faith of an entire nation or the faith of just one person like you or me.
