Do you know what Palm Sunday is?
If you don’t, you aren’t alone. It is a part of what is known as Holy Week but receives less focus than Good Friday and Easter Sunday. It is the day that commemorates Jesus entry into Jerusalem which would begin the week when he would fulfill his purpose on earth. The people of Jerusalem were excited their Messiah had come and lined his path with palm leaves ( a well known symbol of victory).
The next 2 Sundays we will take a break from our Heroes of Faith from Hebrews 11 series to focus on the Greatest Hero; Jesus.
Join us this week for Palm Sunday, Good Friday and then Easter Sunday as we celebrate our Lord and Saviour and the great sacrifice he made to cover our sins and deliver us from the chains of condemnation.
