Kindness is easily shown to friends and family members, or perhaps coworkers and neighbours whom we get along with. We might show kindness for strangers to be polite. We might even show kindness to an enemy, to keep them at bay or avoid a conflict.
What’s our motivation of those acts of kindness? To often, kindness is shown if we feel like showing it. How our day went, how we feel about a particular person or situation. Our kindness is too often centred around us! What would it look like to show kindness to anyone and everyone? Is that even possible?
This is week-five of our Cultivate series, based on the fruit of the spirit found in Galatians 5. You’ll discover that we can show kindness to anyone if we have a firm understanding of the kindness God showed us through Jesus.
