700 years before Jesus was born, a man named Isaiah wrote that He would be called the "Prince of Peace." It's a bold statement! Then, approximately 2000 years ago, Jesus was born.
This week, we celebrate the Advent of Peace. We're focussing on the arrival of the promised peace that was to be brought about with the birth of Jesus. However, when we look around our own lives or the world at large, it often doesn't seem that peaceful! This Christmas season, while amazing and beautiful, can be the most stressful time of year for many people.
In our sermon this week, I want to take a moment to pause and examine the peace Jesus delivered and how we can access and experience it - even in the business and stress of life!
