Let's flip the script a bit. Now, picture a disciple of Jesus? How would you describe them? In reading the word "disciple", did their appearance suddenly change in your mind? If so, how? In your mind, do followers of Jesus and disciples of Jesus look the same or different? What do you envision?
This week, we’ll study the calling of Matthew, the Tax Collector; challenging our preconceived ideas on what type of person becomes a follower of Jesus. We’ll answer the question, “Who can become a disciple of Jesus?”
