This week, we’re stepping into Joel’s vision of God’s courtroom. Joel 3 paints a sobering picture of the nations being summoned for judgment.

But right in the middle of this scene of global shaking is an incredible promise: “The Lord is a refuge to his people.” In a world where injustice seems to go unanswered, this passage assures us that God sees, God knows, and God will bring perfect justice.
